  2. Materials. This is usually issued by the manufacturer. Frame components are usually covered against structural failures for 20 to 50 years. Roof and wall panels are typically covered against premature rusting, peeling, chalking or fading for periods of 20 to 40 years. Coverage is often prorated according to the age of the structure.
