Founded in 2003, Xtreme Manufacturing produces one the largest and most versatile selections of telehandlers in North America. Telehandlers are hydraulic lifting machines equipped with telescopic booms to combine the lifting capabilities of a fork with the extension ability of a crane. The manufacture of these machines requires ample space and Xtreme Manufacturing required an addition to their Henderson, Nevada facility. They contracted with Fleming Steel Erectors for the erection portion of their 49,000 square foot addition.
The project, originally scheduled to begin in June of 2024, did not get underway until early October of 2024. Despite this delay, Fleming Steel Erectors was still able to complete the erection portion of the building on schedule, with projected completion one to two weeks before the deadline.
The newly constructed manufacturing space tied into the existing building utilizing a Behlen building with an R-panel roof and walls with the end-wall consisting of a concrete tilt wall. Special equipment included crane beams.
“We’re thrilled to be able to provide the building extension for Xtreme Manufacturing that will allow them to grow their business and have the space required to build their exemplary product. Flemming Steel came through, as always, meeting all construction deadlines despite a four-month delay to the start date.”
