The Regal Plaza Convention Center buildings, completed in 2008, make up a high-profile, multi-purpose campus encompassing a full city block. The versatile property, which has changed hands since its construction and is currently owned by a church, includes nearly 600K square feet of gathering and retail space. The convention center entry features a soaring 70-foot-high by 200-foot-wide engineered glazing system.
The complex is surrounded by 130,000 square feet of multi-tenant professional and/or retail spaces consisting of eight buildings, including a mezzanine, all clad with Nichiha® faux brick panels to match the convention center.
“The Regal Plaza Convention Center, now Transformation Church, is a great example of how customizable division 13 projects can be. The campus consists of a variety of building types that are more reminiscent of a historical downtown district than a pre-engineered metal building. This property demonstrates the versatility of PEMB are and how they can remain functional well beyond their original intended purpose.”
