Completion of Last Mile Distribution Center Wraps Fifth Project Between FSE and Global E-Commerce Company

Fleming recently completed the structural steel and roofing portion of an Oklahoma City last mile distribution center for a widely recognized global e-commerce company.

The 120K square foot project is the fifth building partnership between Fleming and the client and the nineteenth partnership between Fleming and Industrial Developers of Oklahoma (IDO).

Working within an accelerated 10-month schedule Fleming was able to meet all deadlines and bring the project in on-time and under budget with zero safety issues. Deadlines were met in spite of supply chain shortages and on-site complications resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Vanguard Reefer Trailer
Manufacturing Plant

In spring of 2020, we began assembly on a 255K square foot reefer trailer manufacturing plant in Monon, Indiana. Its design includes a 32’ eave and 8 bridge cranes.

By assembling the modules on the ground, we eliminated 50% of the higher-risk elevated work. This method is both faster and safer. After the modules were assembled, two cranes lifted them into position.

The FSE crew, in collaboration with JM Williams Contractors, worked through heavy spring rains and the Covid-19 pandemic to get the job done on stated timelines, safely and with no incidents.

Skycam

FSE Provides Steel Building Erector Services for Skycam’s Original Headquarters

Skycam, the company behind the aerial camera systems used to film sporting events ranging from professional football to the Olympics, was originally located in Broken Arrow, OK before moving to Fort Worth, Texas. While in Oklahoma, Skycam commissioned the Fleming Construction Group to build their 50,000 square-foot headquarters.

Regal Plaza

FSE Erects Nearly 600K Square Feet of Structural Steel for Convention Center and Retail Plaza

The Regal Plaza Convention Center buildings, completed in 2008, make up a high-profile, multi-purpose campus encompassing a full city block. The versatile property, which has changed hands since its construction and is currently owned by a church, includes nearly 600K square feet of gathering and retail space.

The Clear Edge Filtration facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma replaced two New York facilities, moving the company’s US manufacturing operations closer to its corporate headquarters, which are also located in Tulsa.
